Lois Mae Morrison, age 83, went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2021. Lois was born to the late Ralph and Ida “Goins” Howard on July 10, 1937, in Pineville Kentucky. Lois is preceded in death by parents, husband, Don Morrison; daughters, Theresa Yates and Beth Yates; sisters, Mildred Dolly Cooper and Carolyn Defevers. Lois is survived by a son, Ralph Yates; a granddaughter, Amanda Sturtz, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lois was a devote Baptist and regularly read the bible before bed. She attended school where she was born and graduated from Bell County High School. Spending time with friends and family was very important to Lois. She retired from Timken in Bucyrus and had worked for a couple of the banks in the area before retiring fully. She had enjoyed traveling, gardening, crocheting, knitting, and her trips to the casino. Lois also used to go fishing and camping at Lake Erie. She will be deeply missed.
