Lillian B. Falzitto, 88, of Galion passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Woodside Village Care Center in Mt. Gilead where she had been a resident for the past year.
The youngest of ten children, she was born January 30, 1931 in Alliance, Ohio and was the daughter of Jesse and Anna (Hotelling) Phillimore. On June 6, 1950 she married Anthony Michael Falzitto and they were married 59 years until his passing on October 10, 2009.
She was a graduate of Crestline High School in 1949. Lillian was a lifelong member of the Crestline Church of the Nazarene where she sang in the choir.
She is survived by her son Larry Falzitto of Galion.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Falzitto, brothers, Richard, Jesse, Harry, Donald and Charles Phillmore and sisters, Anna Mae Russell, Evelyn Klingel, Viola Stewart and Irene Freedman.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Crestline with Pastor Scott Buell officiating.
