Larry E. Baldwin, 53, previously of Galion and recently of Mansfield passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield after a sudden illness.
Born December 22, 1965 in Galion, he was the son of the late Calvin and Bessie (Hammond) Baldwin. He married Christina Vaughan on November 2, 1992 and she survives.
He was a graduate of Galion High School. Larry has worked at Enman Stamping in Mansfield for the last seven years and was very devoted to his family and enjoyed calling everyone in his family regularly. He enjoyed fishing, collecting knives, lighthouses, dragons and taking one day trips to Amish Country and Lake Erie.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Krystal (James McCall) Baldwin of Galion, Kyle (Allyssa) Baldwin of Medina and Amanda (George Wilburn) Baldwin of Bellefontaine; seven grandchildren, Maddelynn, Willow, Landon, Arabella, Charlotte, Nova and Raelynn; four sisters, Lori (Bryan) Jeffrey of Mansfield, Sherry Javens of Mt. Gilead, Shari (Ted) Workman of Mansfield and Amy (Dan) Cushard of Mansfield; three brothers, Jerry (Amy) Baldwin of Florida, Terry (Teresa Baldwin of Galion and Harry Baldwin of Galion, and his second mom Shirley Baldwin of Mansfield.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2019 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2019 with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in care of the funeral home.
