Krista L. (Hart) Cramer, age 47, lit up every room she entered. A vibrant and illuminating presence, Krista’s memory will shine on after her sudden passing on September 13, 2024.
Born in Bucyrus on July 18, 1977 to parents Dennis and Lucinda (Fetter) Hart, Krista’s heart was always centered in the region of Ohio she called home. She graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1995 and on May 6, 2000, she married Troy Cramer, the love of her life whom she had met in 1998. The couple raised three children together, Trevor, Nathan, and Madeline, lovingly referred to by her mom as “Sass.” Krista was a woman of myriad talents and passions, but her dedication to her family and the love with which she showered them was among the most substantial. Though she was often occupied with work and projects, Krista never missed any of her childrens’ games or events.
Krista was an enchanting and radiant presence, always with an infectious smile on her face. Everywhere she went, strangers rarely stayed strangers for long as she made friends with everyone who crossed her path. Her effervescent and adventurous spirit led her to cultivate a gift for cooking; she was often found in the kitchen creating unique dishes to share with loved ones. Beyond creative culinary pursuits, Krista loved warm weather and enjoyed being outside to soak up rays of sunshine. A voracious reader, she was often found enveloped in books. Her favorite place was basking in the warmth of a sunny day, reading a book, with a glass of wine in hand. Her green thumb led her to a life full of plants, both for enjoyment and use in her kitchen. Krista was by all accounts in love with life, and when not actively living every moment as full as possible, she spent time gently and carefully preserving memories in meticulously-created scrapbooks.
Krista is survived by her loving husband, Troy; children Trevor, Nathan, and Madeline; parents Denny and Cindy Hart; brother Scott Hart; parents-in-law Jerry and Mary Cramer; brother-in-law Todd (Leigh) Cramer; niece Olivia Hart; nephew Gage Hart; and many more beloved friends and extended family.
She is preceded in death by brother Kevin Hart.
A private service will be held for Krista’s family, however they invite friends and loved ones to join them on November 22, 2024 from 5 to 9pm at the DLX Kobacker Room (28 N Main St, Mansfield, Ohio 44902) to celebrate Krista’s life.
