Kevin Duane Sanchez was born September 10, 1965 to parents Marilyn Lashley-Hallock and Juan Sanchez on an army base in Bourne, Massachusetts. He was reunited with his Heavenly Father, leaving this earth suddenly only several weeks after his move to Mobile, Alabama at the end of 2022.
Kevin was the proud Father of Ashley Sanchez-Agee, Joseph Sanchez, and Teresa Hallock who was raised by her paternal grandparents, Marilyn and Rick Hallock.
Throughout his life, Kevin loved to laugh and be surrounded by the people he cared about. He enjoyed fixing up cars and tinkering with projects around his house. He especially loved Christmas and bringing joy to the people he loved. He is remembered by many for his generosity and willingness to always lend a helping hand. Kevin was an electrician by trade, which he learned from his beloved grandfather Bob Thorne. Kevin also enjoyed being outdoors in the summer and loved making memories canoeing on the river or attending a concert with friends.
Kevin is preceded in death by his grandmother Emma Thorne, grandfather Bob Thorne, Uncle Ronald Lashley, and Uncle Robert Lashley.
A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday May 6th at 10:00 am at the Mansfield Cemetery 389 Altamont Avenue Mansfield, Ohio, 44903 in the veterans Honor Grounds in honor of Kevin’s service as an army veteran. Wait at the entrance of the cemetery for a procession to the gravesite. A brunch will be providing following the service at Mansfield 1st Assembly of God (M1) 1000 McPherson St Mansfield, OH 44903.
