Kenneth W. Furr, 69, of Galion passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Country Meadows Nursing Home in Bellville.

He was born November 29, 1952 in Parkersburg, West Virginia and was the son of Okey and Cathryn (Kesterson) Furr. Kenneth married Eufemia “Femy” Olermo Furr on November 2, 1973 and she preceded him in death on May 5, 2017.

He graduated from Loudonville High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Kenneth and Femy had lived in several areas including, the Philippines, California and Las Vegas. He was ordained thru the Global Action International and served as a Pastor in the Philippines. Kenneth attended Wesley Chapel in Galion and enjoyed photography.

He is survived by two sons, John (Lisa) Furr of San Diego, California and Jeremy (Sherri Burton) Furr of Galion; grandson, Noah and a brother, Jerry (Joyce) Furr of Galion.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Furr and a sister, Connie Shade.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7 with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.

Military honors will be conducted by United States Navy.
