Kenneth P. Ruby, 69, of Galion passed away March 27, 2020 at home.
Born February 9, 1951 in Galion, Ohio, he was the son of Paul and Cleo (Woods) Ruby. He married Marlene J. (Jacobs) Ruby on April 6, 1968 and she survives.
Ken worked as a welder for 47 years for Galion Iron Works, Galion Dresser, Komatsu Dresser and retired in 2015 from HTI in Galion.
He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and was well known for helping anyone in need.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Jennie (Joel) Harford and Christopher (Trudy Staats) Ruby all of Galion; grandchildren, Megan Fox, Brandon Ruby, Chad Herron, Josiah Harford, Crystal Campo and Jessica Harford; great grandchildren, Raylen Ruby, Calem Ruby and Lincoln Dean; sisters, Melissa (Gary) Schumacher, Darline Reeder and Pamela Gura and his faithful companions his Chihuahua, Coco and his Africa Grey Parrot, Joey
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Ruby and a sister, Diane Syar.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
