Kenneth R. Hensley, 64 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Marion General Hospital.  Kenneth was born July 5, 1957, in Bucyrus to the late Stanley and Lillie J. (Carnes) Hensley.  He was married July 23, 1977, to Tammy (Emerson) Hensley who preceded him in death on January 11, 2019.  He was also preceded in death by daughter Vanessa Cooper;  grandson Michael Schuster; 6 infant siblings, and brothers Samuel, John Henry, Clyde, and Freelin Hensley.

Kenneth is survived by children Brad Brown of Bucyrus, Kenny (Katrina) Naveja and Jennifer Naveja both of Bucyrus; Amber Hensley and Kenneth R. Hensley both of Marion; and Austin Fox of Mansfield; special friend Carol Tuttle; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren of which grandchild Rickey Schuster he helped raise; sisters Ida Jean Beery of Marion, Roxie Mae Messer of Bucyrus; Kathy Reeder of Bucyrus; and Brenda Lauthers of Bucyrus; his pet dogs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1975 and was a retired trucker.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, going out to eat, attending his grandkids’ sporting events, loved mowing his grass, and was handy with building materials.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com.
