Kathy Lynn Zimmerman, 66, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024, in Galion Hospital Avita. Kathy was born on January 31, 1958, to the late parents of Clarence and Stella (Bobbitt) May, Sr.
Though Kathy’s life took her on various paths, she found joy and purpose as a bartender at Stalworth Bar in Tiffin, OH, where she brightened the lives of many patrons with her warm smile and friendly demeanor. Her passion for playing Bingo and cards brought laughter and fun to those around her, creating lasting memories for all who had the pleasure of joining in.
Kathy cherished spending time with her family, especially at family gatherings, where she could be found engaging in spirited debates with, John. Always one to push boundaries, Kathy’s fondness for Billy Ray Cyrus was known to all, adding a touch of humor to her character.
Left to cherish her memories are her fiancé Roy Pawelski, Sr., son Tony (Brittany) May, of Crestline; three grandchildren; her sisters Mary (John) Schleter, of Haleyville, AL, Linda (Danny Bailey) Smith, of Crestline, and Peggy (Mike Lewis, Sr.) Lewis, of Crestline; brother Richard (Christy Dennis) May, of Carrollton, AL. Kathy’s legacy lives on through her loved ones, who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Along with Kathy’s parents, Kathy was preceded in death by Bobby May, Roger May, Paul May, Charlotte May, Gordon May, Diane Forwalder, Barbara May, Ronnie May, Clarence May, Jr.
