Kathleen “Kathy” Hirschy, age 52, of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born November 6, 1965 in Willard, Ohio to Dr. John and Patricia (Secor) Rosso.  Kathy graduated from Willard High School in 1984 and from The University of Toledo in 1989 with a B.A. in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.  She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and served on the St. Francis School Advisory Board for three years.  She worked her entire life as a pharmacist at K&H Drug Store, Frye Pharmacy, Rite Aid, and most recently, Discount Drug Mart.  Kathy was also licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Florida.  She enjoyed attending her daughters, nephews and nieces, and husband’s sporting events and her daughters’ musical events.  Kathy loved country music, attending concerts, watching movies, socializing, and traveling (especially to her favorite destination, Siesta Key, Florida).  Her sense of humor, smile and laugh could light up a room.

She is survived by her husband, David Hirschy, whom she married July 5, 2007; 4 daughters, Dr. Meredith (Andy) Hale of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, Caroline Hamilton and fiance’ Matt Ritz of Attica, Emily Hamilton of Willard and Abby Hamilton of Willard; grandson, Grafton Ritz of Attica; father, Dr. John E. Rosso and Alice Schieffer of Willard; 3 brothers, Dr. James (Trish) Rosso of Willard, Mike (Tina) Rosso of Texas and John Rosso of New Jersey; sister, Jackie (Mike) Bogner of Willard; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia M. (Secor) Rosso; grandparents, E. Raymond & Lillian Secor and John & Mary Rosso, and nephew Nate Bogner.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 21, 2018 from  2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio.  The funeral mass will be Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, Ohio with Fr.
