Kasey Davis, 70, of Crestline passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at his residence. He had been seriously ill for the past several months.
He was born February 1, 1948 in Crestline and was the son of William and Ruth (Elmore) Davis. Kasey is survived by his wife of 22 years Gerry Davis, whom he married on January 18, 1996.
He attended Colonel Crawford High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Kasey worked for Conrail and retired from the Norfolk-Southern Railroad in 2005. He and his wife Gerry owned and operated Davis Bottled Gas. Kasey was called “Superman” by the grandchildren he adored. He enjoyed fishing, was known as a “jack of all trades” and will be remembered as a hard-working man.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Karen (James) Bittner, Karla Martinez and Marlo Robidoux; son Trent (Diane) Robidoux; daughter-in-law Vickie Robidoux; grandchildren Joshua (Jennifer Fitzgerald) Robidoux, Paige (Tyler) Wasserman, J.D. (Erica) Geiger, John (Sarah) Geiger, Taylor Robidoux, Jessica (Mathew) Yuengert, Joe (Amanda) Hipsher, Lacey (Tom) Shay, Emily, James, Eric and Kristen “KC” Bittner, Gabriel, Miguel and Samantha Martinez and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Ronald Davis; sister Elva Bonser and a son Troy Robidoux.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
