Karen Palmer, 73, of Galion passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023 at The Ohio State University Medical Center after a two and a half month battle with cancer.
Born February 23, 1950 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Austin and Mary (Dahl) Robinson. She married Raymond C. Palmer on June 19, 1981 and have enjoyed 42 years together.
Karen loved riding and taking trips on her Harley Davidson and belonged to the Mid-Ohio Harley Owners Group since 2004 and the Red Hat Ladies in Florida. She loved to go on cruises and to winter in Florida which she has done the past six years. She also enjoyed all types of crafts and play Mexican Train with the girls in Florida.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Jeannette (Charlie Cook) Thompson of Columbus, Cyndie Green of Galion and Sherry Lykins of Bucyrus; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; three brothers, Wayne Robinson, David (Mindy) Robinson and Frankie Robinson; her cat Spunky and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny and Cliff Robinson.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating.
