John W. Steiner, 82 of rural Crestline passed away on Thursday December 23, 2021 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. John was born August 22, 1939 in Bucyrus to the late Ellis and Virginia (White) Steiner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons Thomas and Jeffrey; and nephew David Steiner.
John is survived by daughter Beth (Darrin) Schifer of Bucyrus; granddaughter Lauren Schifer of Marion; and brother Glenn (Linda) Steiner of Bucyrus.
John lived his entire life in this area and retired from PPG in 2002. He enjoyed woodworking and restoring Antique Tractors. John was a member of Scioto United Methodist Church and also a member of the Ohio National Guard for 6 years.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
