John R. Forwith, 62, of Galion, died suddenly Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Galion Community Hospital.
John was born in Mansfield on September 19, 1955 to the late Thomas E. Forwith and Mary F. “Peggy” Forwith.
John retired as a dispatcher with a cab station in Mansfield and drove bus for Greyhound. He loved his job as a bus driver, enjoying the perks of traveling while working. John enjoyed listening to rock and roll music. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and dogs.
He is survived by his fiancé, Julia “Judy” Mitchell; his daughters, Gloria Forwith and Ashley Forwith, both of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Bryden, Skiilynn, and E’zayvier Bolden, and Rosealeigha Forwith, and one grandchild on-the-way; and his brothers, Thomas and Joan Forwith of Avondale, Arizona, Harold and Mary Forwith of Mansfield, and Fred and Rhonda Forwith of Galion.
