JoEllen Lilly-Murray, 84, is well fortified with the sacraments on April 14, 2021. JoEllen was born to the late John and JoHannah “Riley” Lilly on April 17, 1936, in Montgomery West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Murray who passed in 2003. JoEllen is also preceded by her parents, brother, Ronald Lilly, and sister Margaret Bailey.
JoEllen is survived by her son, Sean (Marie) Murray; grandson, Joseph Murray; sister, Patricia Windon.
JoEllen was a graduate of Montgomery High School. She had a very strong passion in assisting with the National Right To Life Movement. She also held her faith in very high regard and was a very devout Catholic.
Visiting hours are Monday, April 19 at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home from 4 PM-7 PM. Services will be Tuesday, April 20, at 10 AM at Our Mother Perpetual Help Church in Sulphur Springs. Interment will follow services in Lancaster Ohio at Maple Grove Cemetery at 2 PM. Memorials may be made to the Avita Health Hospice or Our Mother Perpetual Help Church.
