Joann “Jo” Staats, 58, of Galion passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022.
She was born July 25, 1964 in Galion and was the daughter of Robert and Arlene (Larimore) Staats.
Jo graduated from River Valley High School. She was a Christian and enjoyed watching game shows.
She is survived by a son, Samuel Staats; mother, Arlene Staats of Mt. Gilead; sisters, Lois Staats of Iberia and Kristine (Ronald) Huggins of Lexington; brother, Eric (Wendy) Staats of Edison; her long time boyfriend, Pearlie Thompson of Mansfield; nieces, Heather, Holly, Lovella and Jenny and nephews, Austin, Dallas, Kyle and Lyle.
Jo is preceded in death by her father, Robert Staats; daughter, Amber West and a brother, Robert Staats.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 in Grand Prairie Cemetery, 4964 Brush Ridge Drive N Marion, Ohio 43302. There will be a gathering following the graveside service at Lewis Park in Harpster, Ohio.
