Joann Elizabeth Groh, 76, of Galion passed away peacefully on Thursday July 13, 2023. Joann was born to the late John and Ruth (Schnelker) Groh on January 7,1947.
Joann graduated from Galion High School, Class of 1965. She attended The Ohio State University to obtain her bachelor’s degree in English. Joann was employed as a Social Worker her entire working career at Crawford County Job and Family Services and retired in 2003. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galion.
Joann is survived by numerous cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Catholic Church 135 N. Liberty, Galion, Ohio on Tuesday July 18, 2023, at 11:00am, with Father Paul Fahrbach, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Galion.
