Jo Arlene (Lewis) Baker, 60, of Galion passed away May 28, 2019 at Galion Community Hospital.

She was born September 6, 1958 in Morrow County and was the daughter of the late Russell C. Lewis, Sr. and Darlean F. (Hendricks) Lewis. Jo is also preceded in death by the love of her life, Ed O’Brien whom she made her home with and took care of him for 11 years until his passing.

Jo graduated from Mt. Gilead High School in 1976 and was a homemaker. She had previously worked at the Holiday Inn in Worthington, Pizza Barn in Cardington and Mt. Gilead State Park. Jo loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and feeding the birds and squirrels. Jo enjoyed the slot machines, bingo and playing cards. She was an avid Rolling Stones fan, especially Mick Jagger.

Jo is survived by eight siblings, Russell C. (Kathy) Lewis, Jr. of Mt. Holly, North Carolina, Candice C. McCurdy of Cardington, Rick A. Lewis of Edison, Rock F. Lewis of Galion, Jacqueline R. Lewis of Galion, Cary L. (Beverly) Lewis of Willow Spring, North Carolina, Gracie M. (Gary) Crawford of Mt. Gilead and Karolyn K. (Mark Turner) Lewis of Galion; best friend, Tammy M. Storer of Galion; Step-daughter, Sharon K. Gayhart of Delaware; step-granddaughter, Holly of Delaware; step-grandson Aiden of Marion and two step-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2019 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where funeral will immediately follow at 6:30 p.m. with David Dunn officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Iberia Cemetery.
