Jesse G. Melba, 28, of Galion passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident while riding with his fiancée’ Je’nill Pahl.
Born March 29, 1989 in Painesville, he was the son of Ned Jenkins of Portsmouth and Lisa (Garfield) Jenkins of Marion.
He was a graduate of Galion High School in 2007 and worked at Slashover Maintenance. Jesse enjoyed basketball and especially liked spending time with his son.
He is survived by son Carson Melba and Carson’s mother Mkenzie Kemle of Galion; maternal grandparents Clifford and Mary Jones of Mentor; brother Zachary (Kathy) Melba of Huntington, West Virginia; aunt Kristen Rodick of Mentor and uncle Michael (Heather) Garfield of Mentor.
He was preceded in death by his fiancée Je’nill Pahl; paternal grandparents John and Anne Jenkins and brother John Melba.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where a memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. with Father Paul Fahrbach officiating.
