Jenni (Pinson) Smith passed from this life July 25th, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born January 13, 1960 to Jerry and Imogene (Freas) Pinson.
After graduating from Bucyrus High School in 1978 she worked at various jobs including McDonald’s, Clancy’s, and the Holiday Inn before starting at General Electric on December 26th, 1984. She was always a hard worker, barely ever missing work, and always finding a better way to complete a job. She retired from GE February 1st, 2020 and would often spend her free time crocheting, cross-stitching or knitting.
She met her husband of 31 years, Melvin, May 2, 1986 and they were married July 18th, 1986. They had two children, whom they were immensely proud of and loved very much, Bradley (Krys) Smith and Katie Smith, both survive. In addition to her children, she is survived by mother Imogene, sister Becky (Jim) Armbruster, brother Danny Pinson, granddaughters Madison, Kylee, and Addy and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her father Jerry, husband Mel, sister Kathy, and brother-in-law Don Smith.
Visiting hours will be at Munz-Pirnstill Friday July 29th, from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM. The funeral services will be Saturday morning at 11AM. Jim Armbruster will be officiating with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Ave Church of Christ.
