Janice M. Gillespie age 84 of Upper Sandusky died at her residence Nov. 26, 2024. She was born in Kirby on Oct. 23, 1940 to the late Lester H. and Mildred L. (Horn) Wagner. On June 29, 1979 she married Morris R. Gillespie who preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 1996. Surviving are her daughters Darlene (Raymond) Fredritz, Upper Sandusky, Tamara (Jim) Perkins, Durant, OK, Robin (Chris) Zurcher, Amherst, grandchildren Jennifer Snyder, Collin (Kyra) Fredritz, Caleb (Lindsi) Perkins, Cali Perkins, David Zurcher, Jessica Zurcher, great grandchildren Scarlet Fredritz, Blakely Fredritz, Tucker Perkins, Rowyn Spellman, Madden Latter and Sutton Latter, brothers Fred Wagner, Thomas Wagner, Justin Wagner, sisters Susan Mulllholand, Charlotte Markley and a special companion Duane Bosley. She is preceded in death by a brother Randall Wagner.
She was a homemaker and was raised in the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Gillespie enjoyed playing bingo, cards, euchre, cooking and baking cookies, she was a meticulous housekeeper, her lawn work was perfect and she loved country music. She was a person to take charge.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM Mon. Dec. 2, 2024 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Sturgeon officiating. Visitation will be held on Sun. Dec. 1, 2024 from 4:00-6:00PM and
1 hour before time of services at the funeral home. Interment is in Oak Hill Cemetery.
