James S. Schiffer Sr., 79 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. James was born February 15, 1941 in Shelby, OH to the late Aloysius and Mary Schiffer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 siblings.
James is survived by son James Schiffer Jr. of Mansfield; Longtime friend and companion Betty Taylor of Bucyrus and her daughter Trudy Taylor.
James was a graduate of Shelby High School and last worked at Midwest in Willard. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and listening to the “oldies”.
