It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Vincent Nigh, 66, of Galion, passed on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Jim was born to the parents of James and the late Barbara (Wampler) Nigh on February 9, 1958.
Jim graduated from Galion High School, class of 1976. As a farmer and painter, he found solace in the beauty of the land and the colors of his craft. His love for the outdoors extended to fishing, hunting, boating, and skiing on water and snow, where he found peace and joy.
Jim was not only dedicated to his work but also to his family, cherishing every moment spent with them. Whether it was laughing together or watching the grandbabies play, he found immense happiness in their company. His involvement in the Morrow County Cattleman’s Association showcased his commitment to the community and his fellow farmers, a testament to his generous spirit.
As we remember Jim’s life, let us celebrate the joy he brought to those around him and the love he shared with all. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
