James Allen Lewis, age 49, passed away unexpectedly at home October 4, 2021. James was born to the late Harold and Connie (Stahl) Lewis June 17, 1972, in Bucyrus Ohio. James was preceded in death by his parents and brother Darrell Lewis.
James is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Joshua Gilmartin) Lewis; life partner of 30 years, Darlene Grayson; brothers, Kenny Lewis and Mike Lewis; grandchildren, Jayden Lewis and Shelby Williams.
James for a number of years hosted Donkey Basketball. A traveling act that would attend schools and events. It was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2002 as one of the best traveling shows in the country. James was known for his guitar playing and taught many people over the years how to play. He loved working on cars, especially Mustangs, while also enjoying drag racing. He could build them from the ground up. James enjoyed riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, and loved going fast. He traveled quite often, loved life in general, and will be deeply missed by his family.
