
Ilobell M. Deisch, 92, of Galion passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at The Inn at Orchard Park in Bucyrus.
Born January 20, 1926 in Morrow County, she was the daughter of Eddie and Josie (Worline) Curren. Ilobell married Kenneth D. Deisch on August 30, 1947 and he preceded her on December 29, 2011.
She worked as a seamstress for the Stratbury Manufacturing from 1943 to 1948 and then Hart Manufacturing Co. from 1964 to 1969. Ilobell was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making Christmas decorations, Bears, Bunnies, Barbie clothes, Holloween costumes and loved trick or treating. She took pride in her garden, flowers and making sure her house was clean. Ilobell enjoyed being a homebody, but liked dancing on the weekends.
She is survived by son, Kenneth L. (Claudia) Deisch of Galion; daughter, Debra (Brad) Kirgis of Lykens Township; grandchildren, LeeAnn Deisch of Mt. Gilead, Kurt (Stephanie) Deisch of Galion, Brenton Kirgis of Toledo and Callan (Andrew ) Hash of Columbus; a great grandson, Garrett Lee Deisch and a sister-in-law Verna Mae Blackford-Matthews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sisters Mary Ruth Moodispaugh and Flossie Mae Patterson; brothers Forrest Curren, Kenneth Curren and Eddie Curren.
In honor of Ilobell’s wishes, the family will celebrate her life at a graveside service on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Tom Pairan officiating.
