Hope R. Burk, 59, passed away November 11, 2024 at OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born October 15, 1965 in Cleveland, OH to David Shimer and Betty (Heimminger) Shimer.
Hope loved animals and was very adventurous and being outdoorsy. She enjoyed boating, fishing, and riding motorcycles.
Hope is preceded in death by her David Shimer and Betty Sims.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband Chris Burk; daughter, Jenna Boyd (James); three grandchildren; siblings: David Shimer (Sonja), Sissy Lafferty (Dave Marshall), Denise Webster (Keith), Denise Shimer, Melanie Martin (Brian), Dave Kozenko, Andrea Karls (Dave), Walter Kumpf (Cami) and Jason Kumpf; fourteen nieces and nephews; sixteen great nieces and nephew; stepfather, George Sims; mother-in-law, Jan Burk.
A graveside service will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Iberia Cemetery with Pastor Joe Stafford officiating.
