Herman L. Bucklew Sr. age 84 of Upper Sandusky died at St. Vincent Medical Center on May 29, 2021. He was born in Akron to the late Earl and Virginia (Gilbert) Bucklew. On June 19, 1956, he married Juanita Crooks, she preceded him in death on May 31, 2008. Surviving are his children Cindy Barnes, NC, Kimberly Morris, Massillon, Vicky (Mark) Grant, NC, Dr. Herman (Tammi) Bucklew Jr., Upper Sandusky, James (Genevieve) Bucklew, VA, 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, a brother Raymond Bucklew, NC, and a sister Terri Heisley, NV. He is preceded in death by a brother.

Mr. Bucklew was in the ministry and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church where he helped with the sound system. He was a member of the NRA, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and serving his church.

A graveside service will be held on Fri. June 4, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in the Old Mission Cemetery with Pastor Herman Bucklew Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Fri.
