Helen M. Rinehart, 96, of rural Galion passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 22, 1924, in Galion, she was the daughter of Edgar and Laura (Seiter) Wilson. She married Levi W. “Bill” Rinehart on July 5, 1941, and he preceded her on December 26, 2008.
She worked for over twenty years at the former Abbott Industries in Iberia. Helen enjoyed sewing, gardening, watching soap operas and loved old classic country music.
She is survived by daughters Janet (Russell) Henkel of Galion, Beverly Throckmorton of Galion, Linda (Jim Shank) Rinehart of Galion and Jane (Delwyn) Ehrman of Crestline; sons David Rinehart of Galion and Gary (Linda) Rinehart of Lexington; daughter-in-law Betty Rinehart of Galion; numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son Jim Rinehart; grandchildren Julie Throckmorton and Christopher Henkel; infant brother Harold Wilson and sister Mary Colflesh.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Iberia Cemetery with Chaplain Dan Clouse officiating.
