Glenn P. Burky, 90, of Galion passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Lexington Court Care Center in Lexington.
He was born July 19, 1931, in Tiro and was the son of Laylin and Eva (Feik) Burky. Glenn married Betty J. (Love) Burky on July 2, 1950, and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage until her passing on October 20, 2017.
He graduated from Tiro High School and retired after 34 years as a pipefitter for Columbia Gas. Glenn was a member of First Lutheran Church in Galion, Galion Lodge 414 Free & Accepted Masons, 32nd Degree member of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, the Aladdin Temple Shrine, and past member of the Loyal Order of Moose 303 of Galion.
He is survived by his son, James P. Burky of Galion; granddaughter, Kelli (Leslie) Robbins of Lexington; three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Sharon (Darrell) Carman of Sulphur Springs, and Naomi (Wendell) Amstutz of Shelby.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda James; two brothers, and a sister.
Following his wishes, there will be no formal service.
