Glenn “Butch” Arbitter, Jr., 56, of Galion passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at home.
Born May 31, 1965, he was the son of the late Glenn Lee Arbitter, Sr., and Katherine (Hobson) Arbitter.
He was a graduate of Galion High School in 1983 and served in the United States Army and retired from the United States Air Force National Guard in Mansfield. Butch was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR; he was always entertaining and always had an opinion on every subject.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Gidget Rupert of Galion; special nephews, Michael Arbitter of California and Dakota Rupert of Chicago, Ill.; special niece Camryn Rupert of Galion and two close friends, Bo and Don Griffith.
A celebration of life for Butch will be announced at a later date where full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and the Galion Crestline Veterans Military Funeral Detail.
