Geneva “Genny” Montgomery, age 76, passed away May 18, 2021, at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Genny was born to Eula “Chatman” and John Alex Rimmer in Richlands, Virginia, on January 17, 1945. She married Ronald Montgomery on August 21, 1981. Genny is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Val, Janice, and Doug.

Genny is survived by her husband, Ronald Montgomery; and son, Jamie Ahlefeld; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Genny had a passion for taking care of kids. After working for Ohio County Homes, she took up work in Child Care. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and had also taken up Sunday School Teachings there. She was a good cook, and a wonderful mother and wife.
