Gary L. Riley, 72 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday December 7, 2021 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Gary was born October 19, 1949 in Galion, OH to the late Bruce Riley and Mary (McCleese) McElhaney. In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by step father Mack McElandy and wife Brenda (Bowman) Riley. Brenda passed away on September 25, 2021.
Gary is survived by children Troy (Anita) Riley of Plain City, OH; Shawn (Tracey) Riley of Tiffin; Roocho (Tonya) Riley of Hamersville, OH; Tammy (Billy) Butterman of Bucyrus; and Vivian (Emory) Stamper of Bucyrus; 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and brother Larry (Sue) Riley of Bucyrus.
Gary was a retired Truck Driver and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday December 12, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Hager officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
