Frank “Sunny” L. Parker, age 92 of McCutchenville, Ohio died at 7:05 P.M., Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on June 6, 1930, in Seneca County to Henry and Helen (Widmer) Parker. He married Mary (Behm) Parker at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, Ohio on September 1, 1962.

Surviving are the following children, Bill (Kay) Karcher, Oceola, Ohio, Jim (Vicki) Karcher, Apple Creek, Ohio and John (Brenda) Parker, rural McCutchenville, Ohio. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a sister, Betty (Glen) Fogle, McCutchenville, Ohio. Frank was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Robert Parker and a sister, Dorothy Walter.

Frank was a house painter having worked many years for Parker Brothers Painting, McCutchenville, Ohio and also farmed.

He was a 1948 graduate of McCutchenville High School, a member of New Riegel American Legion, a former volunteer fireman for McCutchenville Fire Department, a Tymochtee Township Trustee for many years and was just a very active community volunteer in McCutchenville.

For hobbies he loved to fish, going to McGregor Bay, Canada many years to fish, loved spending time in his woods cutting firewood and just cleaning it up. He also served his country during the Korean Conflict in the Army from 1951-1952.

At Frank’s request he wanted to be cremated and have a private family memorial service at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Father Tim Kummerer officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Tiffin, Ohio.
