Eva J. Snyder, 62, of Galion passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, following a short battle with Cancer at the Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus.
She was born November 28, 1958, in Tampa, Florida, and was the daughter of Norvel and Billy Virginia (Bachman) Flatt. Eva married Kevin V. Snyder, Sr. on January 22, 1977, and he preceded her in death after 38 years of marriage on April 14, 2015.
She revolved her whole life around her children and grandchildren, Eva enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
She is survived by her children, Kevin (Nicole) Snyder, Jr. of Iberia, Brian (Trista) Snyder of Iberia, Sarah (Russell) Conn of Mansfield, Jenny (Kenneth) Butterfield of Galion, Korey (Jessica) Snyder of Crestline, Donny (Kasey) Snyder of Iberia and Hannah Snyder of Galion; 21 grandchildren and a brother Bart (Debbie) Flatt of South Carolina.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Durbin, and a granddaughter, Angel Snyder.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 10 in Iberia Cemetery with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating.
