Dorothy (Moser) Shuck, 87, of Galion passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at Galion Pointe where she had been a resident for the past several years.

 

She was born June 7, 1934 in Deshler, Ohio and was the daughter of Frank, Sr. and Doris (Swerlin) Moser. Dorothy married Richard “Dick” Shuck on June 22, 1952 and he preceded her in death after 58 years of marriage on December 31, 2010.

 

She and Richard enjoyed square dancing and making and attending craft shows.

 

Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Tanya (Roger) Roseberry of Crestline and Pamela (Karl) Anschutz of  Florida; two sons, Daniel (Amber) Shuck of Wauseon, Ohio and Michael (Jackie) Shuck of Bryan, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Nicole (Mike) Emmons, Chad (Cecie) Shuck, Mitchell (Kari) Shuck, Chelsea (Brian) Lowe, Seth (Heather) Thomas, Nichelle Shuck and Danielle (Tyler) Lasure; 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Russ (Martha) Moser of Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, two sisters, Betty (John) Smith and Elaine (Marvin) Meyer and two brothers, Robert Moser and Frank, Jr. (Carolyn) Moser.

 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at McComb Union Cemetery in McComb, Ohio with her nephew, David Smith officiating.
