Donna L. Correll-Smith, 85, of Galion passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 surrounded by her family at home.
She was born October 14, 1937 in Crestline and was the daughter of the later Earl Henry and Mary L. (Koysh) Kurtzman. Donna married Norman Correll and he preceded her in death. She later married Ronald Smith on May 22, 2005 and he also preceded her in death on October 28, 2018.
She graduated from Galion High School in 1955 and worked at the former North Electric and Galion Dresser in Galion. Donna was a member of the Blooming Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church and Women of the Moose 177 of Galion. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, loved her cats, fishing, traveling, the Hallmark Channel, playing games with the great grandchildren, going on rides with her husband Ron and anything to do with cardinals or tigers.
Donna is survived by a daughter, Dixie (Paul) Awbrey; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Brandy; 10 great-grandchildren, Peyton, Kaylie, Jared, Kelsie, Bryce, Madisen, Lawrence,II, Adalyne, Eleanor and Violet and two sisters, Betty Taylor and Mary Jane Pitts.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Iberia Cemetery with Pastor Ron Vozar officiating.
