Dolores ”Dee”. Gledhill, 86, of Hixson, Tennessee, and former Galion, Ohio resident passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at her residence.

She was born March 31, 1935, in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of Frank and Cassadella (Strayer) Foutano. Dee is survived by her husband of 18 years, William J. Gledhill whom she married on January 4, 2003.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Galion. In Galion, Dee worked at the former Arlene’s Boutique, Photorama, the Galion City School District, and in Columbus, for the State of Ohio.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Patty (Dave) Palmer of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; sons, Richard (Pam) Courter of Columbus, Ohio and Jeffrey Gledhill of Galion; 9 grandchildren, Heather (Joe) Bradley, Ryan Courter, Laurie (Jason) Jones, Kelly (Izzy) Schetter, Paul Gledhill, Abby Gledhill, Joshua Courter, James Courter and Danielle Hankins and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Paul Courter, she was preceded in death by a son, James Courter.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2021, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021, with Rev. Heather McLeod officiating. Burial will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens, Crestline, Ohio.
