Dolly June Lillo, 83, of Galion passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Magnolia Terrace in Galion where she had resided for the past three years.
She was born September 24, 1936 in Nevada, Ohio and was the daughter of Fred and Iva (Dummit) Staats. On March 14, 1953 she married Ralph Lillo and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage until his passing on November 29, 2008.
Dolly was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galion. Her family was her life. Dolly loved sewing, quilting and cooking for her family and will be remembered for her Sunday meals.
She is survived by daughters Carla (Jeff) Slone of Galion and Lisa (Jon) Clevenger of Galion; sons ` James (Mary) Lillo of West Lafayette, Ohio and Randy (Michelle) Lillo of Galion; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters Ilene Gelvin of Wadsworth, Ohio and Jeannie Johnson of Galion and brothers Bob Staats of Mt. Gilead and Roger Staats of Galion.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lynn Lillo; five sisters, Mary Thomas, Gladys Brocklesby, Barb Swim, Norma Seitz and Rosie Webb and four brothers, Junior, Lester, Buddy and Edward Staats.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held Saturday at 12:00 noon with her son, Rev. James Lillo officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
