Dennis Nickler, age 62, passed away at home surrounded by family on February 21, after a long 3-year battle with cancer. Dennis was born to the late Grover and Madyln (DePiazza) Nickler on November 5, 1958, in Galion Ohio. Dennis married on July 23, 2010, to Michelle (Barciz) Nickler. Dennis was preceded in death by their parents and brother Jim Nickler.
Dennis is survived by the love of his life and wife of 25 years, Michelle Nickler; children, Michelle (Timmy) Roberts, Stacy Nickler, and Tracy Nickler; stepchildren, Chad (Crystal) Wade and Rachelle (Randy) Smith; brother, Richard Nickler; sisters, Mary Ann Nickler and Regina (Mike) Thomas; grandchildren, Braxton, Brittanii, Calob, and Ricky; furry companion, Thor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis was a long-time foreman, tree trimmer, for Asplundh. He was a former member of the Bucyrus Amvets and Moose Lodge. Dennis enjoyed watching sports, Cleveland Browns and especially Nascar. Dennis would attend races when he was able to. He enjoyed going fishing, golfing, being outdoors, spending time with family, and helping the family with projects. His golden heart will be dearly missed.
