Dennis L. Crim, 76, of Galion passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at home.

Born February 28, 1947 in Galion, he was the son of Eugene and Harriet (Spiggle) Crim.

He proudly served his country during the Viet Nam war where he started as a tank driver, moved to supply, finishing in the CID.  Dennis had top security crypt clearance and was stationed at HQHQ Battery 15th Artillery. He was honorably discharged as an E5.  Dennis was a lifelong member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Galion where he ushered and a member of the finance committee. Dennis was a 20 year Rotarian, A4H advisor for 25 years and a member of Galion Moose 303.

Dennis enjoyed working, always saying he never worked a day in his life. He started farming at age ten, later working at US Steel Grave Vault, Perfection Colby, Miler-Whole of New York managing Wells Department Store. Dennis then got his degree from Clark Community College in Agriculture Sales and worked for Richland Ford Tractor, Marion Ford Tractor, International Harvester, Galion Farm Service, Matthews Equipment Company, Maytag Marion, Patterson Pontiac in Bucyrus, Craig Smith, Cardinal Center, was a purchasing agent for Gibson Landscaping Life Guard at Galion Country Club and taught at Pioneer JVS for 20 years.

He is survived by his companion of 30 years with whom he shared a lot of trips. They each took care of the other, he is also survived by three children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Following his wishes, there will be no service held.
