Delores M. “Dee” Manley, 85, of Galion passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, at home.

She was born September 5, 1936, in Delaware, Ohio, and was the daughter of John Ralph and Loretta (Keeran) Cellar. On November 21, 1953, she married Lloyd E. Manley and they enjoyed 45 years of marriage until his passing on January 22, 1999.

Dee graduated from Waldo High School and worked at the former Young Fashions and for 23 years at Deans Discount both in Galion where she retired as a manager. She was a former member of the Emblem Club and Galion Elks Lodge 1191. Dee was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University football fan.

She is survived by three sons, Joe (Betty) Manley of Galion, Mike Manley of Galion, and George (Julie) Manley of Broadview Heights, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Jerusha (Rick) Walker, Ayesha (Jeff) Fraizer, Toby Manley, Echo Smith, Willow Manley, Jarrod Manley, Jessica (Joey) O’Brien, Ben Manley and Miles Manley; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Ralph “Butch” Cellar of LaRue and a sister, Margaret Waterer of Marion.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Marty Manley, and four brothers, Bob, Ron, Bud, and Richard Cellar.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, November 5 with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
