David L. Delaney, 69, of rural Galion passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at home.
He was born December 12, 1952 in Oak Hill, Ohio and was the son of the late Robert and Ellen (Dome) Delaney. David married Lou Ann (Rinehart) Delaney in 1972 and she preceded him in death after 46 years in 2018.
He was a graduate of Northmor High School and worked as a security guard at Whirlpool in Marion for 30 years. David liked old cars, motorcycles and movies and in his younger years he enjoyed bowling.
David is survived by a son, Dan Delaney of Galion; brother, Bob (Maydell) Delaney of Galion; sisters, Fran Persinger of Mt. Gilead and Mary Bench; mother-in-law, Jane Rinehart of Galion and several nieces and nephews.
At his request no services will be held.
