David E. Jones, 71, of Galion passed away on December 4, 2023 at Shelby Pointe.
Born November 8, 1952 in Shelby, he was the son of the late Willard and Doris (Rank) Jones. He married Patricia Dorothy (Griffiths) Jones on May 11, 1996 and she preceded him in death on November 26, 2014.
David worked at the former Komatsu in Galion for 27 years. He was an Ohio sports fan, supporting the Cleveland Indians, Browns, Cavaliers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
David is survived by a son, Scott (Jessica) Jones of Stephenville, Texas; seven grandchildren, Sarah Jones, Alania Fritz, Isaiah Fritz, Malachi Arredondo, Isaac Jones, Aspen Jones and Layla Jones; great-grandson, Noah Barrera; brother, Paul E. Jones of Attica and two sisters, Sharon (David) Agin of Crestline and Carolyn (James) Morehart of Bucyrus.
There will be no services held.
