David V. Bartley, 51, of Galion, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at Signature Healthcare, Galion.
David was born in Galion, on June 21, 1966 to Emory Bartley, of Bucyrus and the late Rose (Sherman) Bartley.
He liked bowling, fishing, and watching his favorite football teams on TV. One of his greatest loves was Elvis Presley and he could listen to his music all day long. David loved to play board games, especially the game “Sorry”.
He is survived by his sister, Tammy (Kyle) Spitler of Bucyrus; nephews, Matthew Ellis and Michael Ellis; aunts, Judy Tinch of Galion, and Lois Barrett of Lexington.
David is also survived by all of the staff at Signature Healthcare. He loved and adored each and every one of them, as much as each staff member loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Bartley and his grandmother, Lola Chipps.
Friends may call Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion where funeral services will follow at 12:00pm with Dallas Waggle officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery, Iberia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Center at Signature Healthcare in care of the funeral home.
