Daniel L. Carman, 64 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Daniel was born June 6, 1957, in Galion, OH to the late Glenn and Ruth (Broomhall) Carman. He was married December 20, 1985, to Sonja (Blunt) Carman who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Mark Blunt and granddaughter MacKenzie.
Daniel is also survived by daughters Jerusha Kanney, Leah, Sarai, and Daniela Carman; grandchildren Alex, Jayden, Brayden, Kari, Gavin, Maria, Jose, Luke, Gauge, and Bella; brother Steve Carman and additional siblings.
Daniel graduated from Buckeye Central in 1975 and attended Pioneer in the machine trades. He retired from Gorman Rupp where he made pumps. Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, modern technology, and he loved his wife, children, grandkids, and his friends very much.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 3:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. George Lore officiating and burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery, Tiro. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
