Clarence “Butch” Heminger, 81, of Galion passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at Crystal Care Center of Ashland.

He was born March 5, 1941 in Galion and was the son of John and Mary (Black) Heminger. Butch married Linda F. (Luscaleet) on July 7, 1978 and she preceded him in death after 42 years on September 2, 2020.

He worked as an Electrician for many years and was a member of the I.B. E. W. Local 688 of Mansfield. Butch enjoyed woodworking and computer games and was always working on a project. He was an avid NASCAR and Ohio State fan.

Butch is survived by his children, Clarence (Donna) Heminger, Jr. of Ontario, Brian (Vickie) Heminger of Mt. Gilead, Cher Lawrence of Willard, Dale (Kathleen) Donnett of Biloxi, Mississippi; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Heminger of Galion and his Yorkie, half-pint.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Heminger; daughter, Connie Donnett; grandson, Nicolas Frankart and a sister, Audrey Coble.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 3 with Rev. Loyd Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
