Christine Smith, 69 of Bucyrus passed away at home on January 15, 2021, surrounded by nieces Cathy Cotsmire, Stephine Holycross, Cheryl Schilling, and her much-loved pets Duke and Hallie. Christine was born February 12, 1952 in Leeds W. Yorkshire, England to the late Denis and Margaret (Marsden) Liversidge. Christine has been married to Allen Smith for 49 years, since July 31, 1971. Christine is preceded in death by her parents. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sisters Wendy Brookes of England and niece Laura Christine Liversidge.
Christine was a personal insurance agent assistance several years ago. She moved to Bucyrus in December of 1994. Christine was an avid reader and enjoyed murder mysteries, gardening tomatoes, and mowing the yard at the house.
There will be a memorial service Monday, January 25, at 2:00 PM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Corwin officiating. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com.
