Charlotte F. Haymon, 77, of Galion passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Heartland of Bucyrus where she had been a resident for the past year and a half.

She was born November 12, 1940 in Fort Gay, West Virginia and was the daughter of Charles Douglas and Rosetta (Scott) Vicars.

She owned and operated Orange Grove Beauty Salon and worked at Outback and Maynard’s all in Galion. Charlotte enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and being a member of the local social clubs in Galion.

Charlotte is survived by son Scott (Lori) Haymon of Bucyrus; daughter Ada Noble of Shelby; grandchildren Kenneth Staley, Brandon Taylor, Amber (Rich) Blue, Misty (James) Nelson and Michelle Knight; three great-grandchildren Addison, Hannah and Emma; sisters Lois Nardini of Belpre, Ohio, Cathy (Jeff) Billow of Galion, Joni (Doug) Roberts of Mansfield and Pat Maynard of Leesville; brother James (Amy Marzlauf) Vicars of Columbus and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Betty Jo Vicars; brothers-in-law William Maynard and Larry Nardini; longtime companion Ken Hauser and son-in-law Jeffrey K. Staley.

Following her wishes, there will be no public service. There will be a private gathering of family and friends.
