Charles Banks, age 77, passed away surrounded by family on September 20, 2021. Charles was born September 8, 1944, to Norman and Florence (Davis) Banks in Bucyrus Ohio. Charles married on February 10, 1969, to Phyllis Ruth (Lawrence) Banks. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, James Norman Banks, John Banks Sr., Luther Banks Sr., Robert Banks, Ronald Banks, Tommy Banks, Mary Thomas, and Linda Sue Banks; grandchildren, Nathan Banks, and Lucas Hay.

Charles is survived by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis Banks; children, James (Barbara) Banks Sr., Angela (Matthew Haffa) Banks, and Charles (Karen Henry) Banks Jr.; brothers, Richard O, Banks Sr., Donald, Norman Lee Banks; grandchildren, Starlyna Black, Chase Black, Michael, Black, Autum Black, Joshua Black, Jessica Banks, Victoria Banks, James A. Banks Jr., Americus Banks, Sabrina Banks, Dustin Banks, Brandon Banks, Colton Bell, Myia Banks, James L. Banks, Dayla Sandlin, Emily Banks, Madison Banks, Dacien, Lilyien, Gabriella, Amehya, Arabella, Drake Black, Leia Hay, Roselynn Ohler, Kyla Hay, Tommy Meuser, and Vanessa Colvell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Charles worked for a number of years with Ohio Crane and Milo Brown. He enjoyed the simple things in life like playing guitar, singing, and spending time with his family. He was also out and about and working on his vehicles when he got the chance. He will be deeply missed by the family.
