Mrs. Carolyn Angel Collins, age 75, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at her residence.
She was born Sunday, April 24, 1948, in Morrow County, Ohio, to the late Martin Angel and Donald and Jessie Standard Buckner.
Carolyn was a member of Bowen Chapel Church for 16 years. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, canning, word puzzles, and playing Rummy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Brice Smith, Amiyah Henderickson; two brothers, Ray Angel, Donnie Angel; two sisters, Darlene Nolen and Kathy Groves.
She is survived by her loving husband, Denver Collins; two sons, Anthony Hendrickson of Nevada, Ohio, David Hendrickson of Bucyrus, Ohio; one step-son, Denver Collins of Galion, Ohio; one daughter, Velda Stailey of Crestline, Ohio; two step-daughters, Paulette Caudill of Lexington, Ohio, Tonya Rae Collins of North Ft. Myers, Florida; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Angel of Oceola, Ohio, Paul Buckner of Marion, Ohio, Walt Buckner of Mansfield, Ohio; Lillian Zornes of Emerson, Kentucky along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Globe Funeral Chapel, 17277 West US Hwy 60, Olive Hill, Kentucky, with Brother Justin Wagoner, Brother Carl Angel and Brother Danny Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery, in Lewis County, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, until the service hour at Globe Funeral Chapel.
